D. Benjamin Whiting, DDS
Dr. Ben Whiting graduated from the University of Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, after which he returned to his hometown to found Whiting Dental. His love for patients, personable nature and drive for excellence have earned him a reputation across the Valley.
Dr. Whiting loves and is very involved in his profession and community. In 2010 he was appointed by Gov. Jan Brewer as a member of the Arizona State Dental Board. He has been nominated multiple times by his peers as a Top Dentist in Phoenix Magazine, and is contracted as a Dental Advisor for United Concordia Dental Plans. Additionally, Dr. Whiting is a volunteer dental provider for Save the Family, a founding board member and dental provider for the Smileback Foundation, and a founding board member and faculty member of the philanthropic organization, The Impact Council. His professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Society of Forensic Odontology.
As an Eagle Scout himself, Dr. Whiting has served as a Scoutmaster and Troop Committee Chairman for the Boy Scouts of America, and is a Vigil Honoree of Scouting’s Honor Society, Order of the Arrow. He is a long time board member of the Mesa United Way, and has served multiple terms as a member and president of the Mesa School Board.
Dr. Whiting enjoys training for triathlons, reading great books, being outdoors, playing the piano, and spending time with his wife and six children.
